Introductions
To start things off I will go ahead and introduce myself. My name is Nicole Hamilton and I can’t believe I now have a blog. I always make fun of my friends that have blogs, and now I have joined the blogging world. But just for the record I am only doing it because I have to for class. I am from Mooresville, North Carolina, also known as Race City U.S.A. And as an interesting side note, parts of the movie Talladega Nights were filmed in my home town. I have lived in North Carolina for 6 years. Before that I lived in Minnesota. My interests include skiing, swimming, boating, tubing, wakeboarding, fishing, exercising, hiking, camping, and traveling. My family is big into the outdoors and next fall I will be getting my hunting license and hopefully my first deer. As one of five daughters I am quite certain that doing so will secure my spot as my dad’s favorite. Another important thing to know about me is that I am obsessed with dogs. You know those crazy old cat ladies? That’s me in about 50 years, just with dogs instead of cats. I have a Toy Yorkshire Terrier named Minnie that I love to death. Some other random things about me are that I love The Price is Right, 80s music, peanut butter, The Office, The Red Green Show, The Italian Job, and racquetball. I also love sports even though I am not very good at any of them because my hand-eye coordination is definitely lacking. I am planning on majoring in Accounting and then going on to work for Lowe’s Home Improvement, whose headquarters is located in my hometown. After gaining some professional experience I hope to work for the FBI. My secret dream is to develop my own line of fitness DVDs. Denise Austin better watch out. I am a very opinionated and strong-willed person. I am also hard-working and I will work to achieve what I want. I am also probably one of the few people my age interested in politics and who is glued to the T.V. during the election coverage and results. I even watched the election results as a kid and I remember quite specifically yelling at the T.V. when Bill Clinton was re-elected. Well that’s about all the information I can share without embarrassing myself too much. Later gators.
